Brick
This is a church I found in downtown Dexter. I chose to take these photos because I really liked the color of the bricks. The texture of the bricks appeared very smooth, which I liked. To take the second picture I stood in the street in front of the church so I could capture the color of the flowers. I really liked showing the detail of the decorations on the building.
Butterfly
Wheel
This is another statue at Mill Creek Park. I chose this statue because it was rusting, and I liked the way it looked in the photos. I had trouble not capturing the sidewalks, but I made sure there were no people. One distracting thing about the first photo are the two screws in the middle of the wheel. I also liked capturing the fall colors in the background of these photos. I am glad with how these photos turned out.
War
Glass
This is a metal and glass sculpture of a bird in Mill Creek Park. I really liked the colors and texture of the statue. The bronze color of the feathers blended well with the fall colors in nature. The sculpture was right on the shore of the creek, this was another reason why I wanted to take photos of this sculpture. I really enjoyed taking photos of this sculpture.

Wood
Yin-Yang
This is a statue of a Yin-Yang butterfly at Mill Creek Park . I chose to take these photos because the shininess of the silver really stood out. I had to take these photos up close because their were sidewalks all around, so I couldn't get them in the pictures. I enjoyed capturing the fall colors in the backgrounds of these photos. I had fun taking these photos.
Metal
Concrete
This is a concrete statue in downtown Dexter. This statue represents those who gave their lives in war to let others live. I thought this would be a cool piece to take photos of. The lighting in these photos helped show the texture of the statue. In the photos you can see the different textures on each side of the statue.
